Those offered employment will need to:
- Fill out the I9, W4, and direct deposit forms electronically on Gusto. Show ID for the I9 – to see acceptable forms of ID, click here.
- Provide completed working papers (if you are under 18).
- Provide a copy of the lifeguarding certification (for guards and managers).
For those interested in the Red Cross Life Guard Certification Course, Wedgewood will be conducting the Certification and Re-Certification courses.
Sessions are:
- Lifeguarding $325
- May 11th, 2024 (Saturday) 3 PM – 10 PM AND May 12th, 2024 (Sunday) 8 AM – 4 PM (Attending both sessions/dates are required)
- Lifeguarding Review (re-certification) $225:
- course #1: May 19th, 2024 (Sunday) 8 AM–4 PM
- course #2: TBD: Sunday morning in June
Red Cross lifeguard certificate includes first aid/CPR/AED (expires after 2 years)
Price includes pocket mask, copy of book, Red Cross fee, whistle, and lunch or dinner.
You must be 15 years old and be able to swim 300 yards, tread water (legs only) for 2 minutes, and retrieve a submerged object from the bottom of the pool that is 20 yards away in one minute and 40 seconds. Bring warm clothes, a bathing suit, and a towel.
